About Me

Hey, I'm Lauren!

I began power lifting in 2005 as I wanted to improve my athletic performance in high school. My Dad introduced me to my very first personal trainer and I feel in love ever since! I have always played sports; basketball, soccer and softball in particular and recently have been very engaged in MMA/BJJ & Crossfit!

Unfortunately, I was forced to take a 3 year break from any and all physical activity after a sudden major life threatening liver surgery in 2012. I attempted to workout shortly after surgery, however the pain was beyond excruciating I had to stop. I began to tell myself my athletic career was all over until one day I decided that I refuse to let anything get in the way. I literally got up off of the couch one night and began working out again in 2015. It was not easy at all. I fought through so much to get to where I am now. I turned my life around from old habits and surrounded myself around like-minded people! I have noticed a tremendous comeback as I continue to become a stronger & faster athlete more so than before my surgery! When I have rough days I look in the mirror and my abdominal scar reminds me to keep fighting everyday.

My goal is to share my fitness/health stories & knowledge and to help others create a happier & healthier life! Health, fitness, overcoming certain mindsets and helping others push themselves past a limit they thought they would never achieve is my passion! I am one of the most persistent people you will ever encounter! Persistence is key in life.

One of my dreams/goals is to become a professional athlete of some sort as in setting a world lifting record, etc! I want to inspire others to not let anything detour you or stop you from changing your life!
